I cannot hear any sounds | Microphone does not work

 
 
Please check if your headset and your microphone is set as the default output or input device in your system settings.
 
Checking your MacOS system settings
 
Open the system settings via the apple menu. Click on "Sound" afterwards:

Please click on your headset to set it as the default output device:

Switch to the tab Input afterwards. Please click on your microphone to set it as the default input device:
